AFTER TREATMENT:
Protect your skin from the sun: Following the treatment, your skin may become more sensitive to sunlight. It is essential to shield your skin by avoiding direct sun exposure and wearing broad-spectrum sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher every day, even on cloudy days. Reapply sunscreen as needed to maintain protection.
Minimize exposure to heat: Steer clear of excessive heat sources like hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, or intense workouts immediately after the treatment. Heat can exacerbate skin sensitivity and potentially lead to irritation.
Don’t pick or exfoliate: Allow your skin to naturally shed the dead cells without picking or exfoliating the treated area. Picking or scratching can cause irritation, redness, and even scarring.
Hydrate your skin: Keep your skin well-moisturized by using a gentle, non-irritating moisturizer. Choose products suitable for your skin type and devoid of potentially irritating ingredients.
Avoid harsh or abrasive products: In the days following the treatment, refrain from using products containing potent active ingredients like retinoids, benzoyl peroxide, or exfoliating scrubs. Such products may potentially aggravate irritation or sensitivity.
Follow post-treatment instructions: It is important to follow these instructions diligently for the best results.
RECOVERY TIME:
